Savannah Britt is the 20 year-old socialite turned entrepreneur who has taken the entertainment industry by storm. At the age of eight, Britt wrote and published her first poem that and by 2004 she was hired as a paid published writer as a children's book reviewer for “The Kitchen Table News” which had a readership of 70,000. After the newspaper folded, Britt decided to develop a website for teen girls, www.girlpez.com. Accompanying the site, Girlpez became a hard copy magazine entitled Girlpez Fashion Magazine, making Savannah the "Young Magazine Publisher in the World." The magazine transitioned from print to being online only but in February of 2012 a special celebratory print issue was released and quickly sold out on newsstands across the country.

 

The success of the magazine continues to climb as Girlpez has been seen and endorsed by some of the top people in the industry such as Amy Astley, the editor in chief of Teen Vogue, who personally invited Savannah to come visit the offices in New York. In addition, blogs have dubbed Britt as one of the industry's rising socialites, as she has become a red carpet favorite who is known for her celebrity inner circle and faultless fashion sense. Along with that, she has interviewed stars such as Rob Dyrdek, Shwayze, Dawn from Dirty Money, Kevin Rudolf, and Lil Twist.

 

In addition, Savannah has been interviewed and featured on hundreds of entrepreneurial websites, publications, radio shows, and TV shows such as Black Enterprise Magazine, Scholastic's Ahora Magazine, and the Anderson Cooper Show. Britt continues to work on her magazine while also beginning a career in public relations and launching a luxury swimwear line.
